The project

Ilumitex® was used to achieve a stunning centrepiece for the interior walls of Park Walk Primary School, located in Chelsea, central London. An inspirational and breathtaking artwork was created composed of illustrations of lions, giraffes, hippotam’ie and kangaroos. The centrepieces continues to delight and to provide a stimulating learning environment.

This imaginative use of Ilumitex® shows the extent to which stunning and awe-inspiring wall spaces can be achieved. Ilumitex is the perfect choice for unique and customised creative expression.

Specification

Using a combination of Ilumitex® black selected from the colour blend range and Ilumitex® white from the Ilumitex® Pearl range, the two contrasting colours were used to create a magnificent focal point for the school. A seamless finish was provided by Ilumitex with no shrinkage or visible seams or joints.

Ilumitex® proved to be the perfect solution for this school environment. In addition to providing a highly creative solution, the high levels of durability play an important role in this busy educational environment. The water based environmentally friendly Ilumitex® paint system continues to provide a safe and low odour environment for the students of the school. Ilumitex® is also easy to clean and is low maintenance for the school.
